201 Anemone

Raze was always around me during school after Michael bullied me. He never said anything of course, even though I tried to talk to him he would just grunt at me and go back to whatever it was he was doing.

I was excited that I was ‘friends’ with a fairy, but this is not what I was expecting. Raven Knight-Wolford kept telling me I should just give up on talking to Raze and try making other friends.

I knew she was right, but he was always there to lift me up when I tripped, or to keep the bullies away, or to just have someone to talk to even if he didn’t say anything back he would still listen.

With my life not having enough supernaturals in it (in my opinion) I was overly excited (although my sister hated that I was) when Jasmine came home with an extremely distraught Elijah.

Apparently during her confrontation with her father Jasmine needed Elijah to jump in, but when Jasmine tried to keep Elijah from hurting her dad she had gotten bitten. Elijah felt horrible and offered to let Jasmine stay with him so he could teach her how to control the new wolf in her.

Then a few months later Eric got noticed for his musical talent and quickly moved out so that his practicing in the middle of the night would not bother us. Max even moved in with him to keep him company and help him practice. Although I suspected that they may be more than just friends.

Phillip was all I had left at the house, and I enjoyed it. He would bring me to the beach and even taught me how to swim. I kept getting close to him because my other sibling were having a hard enough time with their lives the way is was, I didn’t want to get in their way.

However, once my brother hit eighteen he was out of the house living in Isla Paradiso with Deanna; leaving me all alone.

Raven didn’t hang out with me much anymore because once she hit puberty, her inner wolf was too strong for her to control, and the witch’s powers were just as bad. My mom said that Raven’s mom had to go through the same thing, but that sometimes people didn’t trust in their own abilities to help them.

So when it was my turn for high school, I ended up becoming a bit shy. I wanted to make friends, especially with the supernatural students; but I didn’t want to make friends only for them to leave me. All I had now was my silent fairy.

However just because I was shy did not mean that I would just let people push me over. No, Michael was still a bully, but a bully with a new look and new group of friends, and when they tried to pick on me I would lash back. It didn’t matter that he was a werewolf, or that the kids in his group were witches and werewolves; I was brave enough to push back.

Since I didn’t go out or go anything my parents let me turn Jasmine’s room into a creepy hideout for myself so I could study the objects that supernaturals used. Most of what I got my hands on were things witches used, but I loved everything supernatural so I was excited none the less.

I spent a lot of time in my room, though, writing to my pen-pals. One of my best pen-pal friends was a vampire, and he told me anything I wanted to know about them too. One day I’ll meet him in person, but I needed to get up the courage to do so first. You try getting the nerve to meet someone a hundred and twenty-eight years older than you.

(Sorry there are not as many screenshots in this chapter, but I felt like everyone needed to get to know Belle a little bit before we dove right into her story. Also, I wanted to fill you in on her siblings as well. And seeing as I never mentioned it, Raze’s last name is Goblin, just thought you might like to know that.
I hope that you will enjoy what I have in store for Belle, it’s going to be an interesting ride I can promise you that.
