Jasmine Ravenwood

My parents were wonderful, they stayed home for their work. Mom made potions while dad painted. They always made time for us.

As a group, we would play games, like charades, and other goofy games that dad was not good at… but I always wanted him on my team anyway.

But it was during one of the days I got to be with my parents alone that I worked up the nerve to say something about what has been on my mind for a while now.

“Mom? Why is it that I look like just like my siblings, but my hair is blond? You and dad have dark hair; even grandma and grandpa had dark hair. Was there something wrong with me… Am I adopted… Or am I just not related to daddy?”

My father’s eyes clouded over and he looked at my mom.

She gave a sigh, “Jasmine, your daddy is not really your dad… but he is still related to you.” She looked down at her feet and my dad took her hand as she spoke again, “Your real father is Ike’s twin brother… when he found out that I was pregnant with you, he left us…”

Daddy took over from there, “He didn’t want to be a father, so he took the easy way out and moved away. But I cannot say that it’s a bad thing because I have been in love with your mother for years before that… and once you came into the world I knew I could never leave you, or your mother. You have always been my little girl, no matter what you will always be MY little girl.”

“Daddy, do you still talk to your brother?” I wiped some stray tears from my cheek as I asked this.

“No… I’m sorry Jas, but I cut my ties with him the day he left. But if you ever feel you need to look him up… as much as I don’t want to talk to him, I’ll hunt him down for you.” Daddy looked like he really didn’t want to do what he said, but the fact that he was willing to, made me feel a lot better.

I hugged them both, feeling very emotional and confused about everything. However it could have been worse, I could have been adopted and not related to anyone I loved.

But there was now a growing curiosity that I was going to need to fill, “Could I meet him?”

Dads face fell a little but he gave me the best smile he could muster, “I’ll see what I can do, love. But if I find him, you have to bring Elijah Knight with you, to make sure Jorden doesn’t do anything stupid.” He then gave me his ‘I’m serious’ look.

I had to see this man myself, had to see why he didn’t want to be a father, why he would act like he liked my mom but ditched her when it mattered. It didn’t change anything that Elijah was going to come with.

(So there you have it the start to Jasmine’s story. I hope you enjoyed it. I am off to start work on Eric’s next.)

About AmberCrystal

I was born in '89 and have been addicted to Sims from "The Sims" days. I have always loved writing, and more than likely always will. I am very scatter brained, so sometimes I will need a push in the right direction to get a post out. But more than likely it is because I am having issues with the game, or lost in reading that I forget about a post. I tend to have a day here and there that I go a little download happy... and gotta go through them because of malfunctions. I am proud to call myself a NERD!!! I got the glasses and bun held by a pencil to prove it. But I am also very easy going, and love to chill with friends. If you ever just wanna geek out or want me to check out your site or something just drop me a comment or message me.

Aw, poor Jaz, I know the feeling though. I’ve been in that exact spot, but sometimes you just want to know. I really do want to know how that all goes down. I can’t wait to see the start of the other’s stories though.

The other stories are all unique, I am itching to start them all, so this was the best thing I could think of to (at the very least) get the need to start them out of me.
I cannot wait for the vote to start.

Aw. Poor Jas! I imagine learning that would be hard. But in my opinion, family isn’t who shares your blood or who is related to you. It’s who you love and who loves you 🙂

  4. I would like to see this reunion! I wonder if Jordan’s feelings are any different now that he’s had time to *ahem* think about what he’s done. >=(

Once the heir poll is out you might get to see it, or just hear about it from one of the others.
I’m not sure who I want to win this vote. This will be interesting either way it goes.
