117 Grappling-Irons in the Heart.

The long ride home was super quiet. I got stuck with the twins and Brice in my car, and Kia and Ava drove the moving truck home.

I mean I should have seen it coming because that is how we went to college, but it was super awkward this time.

Screenshot-20

The twins were really quiet, Brice sat in the back with Ike to keep the awkward moments to a minimum.

Screenshot-17

We had the radio on because there was just nothing to talk about. If there was a funny ad or talk radio show, we would laugh, but it was really quick and silence would swallow the car in a matter of seconds.

Screenshot-25

I was glad to drop Brice off at her house, some of the tension left, with her gone. Granted we still remained quiet, the whole confessing thing seemed to be the elephant in the car now.

Screenshot-34

This silence was less irritating than with Brice but was also a harsher, heavier, more demanding silence.

Screenshot-27

When I dropped the twins off I gave them both a big hug, making sure to get them at the same time. I think they knew why but didn’t say anything.

Screenshot-36

“It’ll be weird knowing that you both are not down the hall from me.” I let them go so I could look up at them.

“Aw, April; don’t worry, we’ll always be a call away.” Jorden beamed at me and patted my shoulder.

Screenshot-37

“Yeah, if you ever need anything, or just wanna hang out, just let us know.” Ike had a small shy smile on.

I hugged them both again and got back in my car. The silence was too much for me this time. I had gotten used to the random shouts, and the constant sound of feet on the floor, even the uncomfortable sound of breathing in the silence of the car had been welcomed.

Screenshot-49

I might end up going crazy at home, but I missed my parents, and besides if I was going to get my own place I had to get used to the nothingness of sound.

The drive home felt like it was taking forever, but once I got to my road I wanted to hit the gas. They had the house remodeled, and were waiting for me with open arms, once I told them about the potions Liam and I had discovered they whooped and hollered with joy.

I spent the first few days just relaxing at home getting used to the new layout of the house.

But then Amanda came over for the sunscreen with Quintin, and Aunt Kelly.

Amanda was pretty upset that Quintin did not come over for sunscreen, but instead for the cure.

I started making both potions, with a few extras on the side.

Then we gathered around as I threw the potion at Quintin. Aunt Kelly was scared I made it wrong, and that something would happen, whereas Amanda was not happy about the whole thing.

I think Quintin liked the idea of growing old with Aunt Kelly; Amanda, on the other hand, was not amused.

But she was very happy when I gave her the sunscreen… and was ready to test it out that morning.

From that day I just made more and more potions to sell at the elixir shop. They began selling out instantly, I could not wait for Liam to get his affairs in order and move in with Kia so he could help me.

Everything was great for a few weeks, Liam had moved in an apartment complex in town, Kia was living with him, and our potions were selling out faster than we could make them. I was floating until I started getting sick.

And a little scared…

I could only guess what happened that night of the party now.

About AliciaRain

I was born in '89 and have been addicted to Sims from "The Sims" days. I have always loved writing, and more than likely always will. I am very scatter brained, so sometimes I will need a push in the right direction to get a post out. But more than likely it is because I am having issues with the game, or lost in reading that I forget about a post. I tend to have a day here and there that I go a little download happy... and gotta go through them because of malfunctions. I am proud to call myself a NERD!!! I got the glasses and bun held by a pencil to prove it. But I am also very easy going, and love to chill with friends. If you ever just wanna geek out or want me to check out your site or something just drop me a comment or message me.
